HSBC Bank Armenia has extended a helping hand to children suffering from leukemia. The Bank supported the establishment of “Ognem” Foundation initiated by the composer Edgar Gyanjumyan, the aim of which is to support the treatment of children suffering from leukemia. For the purpose to support the Foundation, the Bank by the initiative of its employees and participation of its clients organized a special donation in June called “Month of assistance to children suffering from blood cancer”. Since November 2007 HSBC Bank Armenia sponsored the recording and production of Edgar Gyanjumyan’s single entitled “Believe and Pray”. It was presented during the charitable concert held in December 2008 and the funds raised during the concert also were directed to the treatment of children suffering from leukemia.
